Talking about BlackBerry, many people would think of the hot rumored BlackBerry 10 smartphones. BlackBerry maker Research in Motion is helping customers prepare to switch to its soon-to-be-launched BlackBerry 10 smartphones that it hopes will help it reclaim market share from rivals such as Apple Inc. As for RIM, it is betting that the new range of touch-screen and keyboard devices, set for a January 30 launch, will revive its fortunes.

Very recently in this week, TechRader got a RIM training manual for the upcoming smartphone, revealing details about the BlackBerry 10 L-Series devices, such as screen size, battery and memory. As reported, the touchscreen models of BlackBerry 10 L series smartphones would adopt 4.2″ screen display with up to 1280×768 pixels screen resolution, which means superb visual effect would be delivered for people to watch HD movies on BlackBerry 10 smartphones. The detailed information about the processor of BlackBerry 10 smartphones has not been unveiled, but it is reported to figure 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory storage. The battery volume is reported to be 1800mAh. BlackBerry 10 smartphones would come with dual cameras: 2MP front camera with 2X digital zoom and 720P video shooting, and 5MP back camera with LED flashlight, 5X digital zoom and 1080P video shooting.

The X10, the smartphone model with a keyboard, should have similar internal specs and, along with the Z10, will sport two cameras. The front-facing camera will be 2 MP with a 2× digital zoom and 720p video recording. The back camera should be 8 MP and include a flash, auto focus, 1080p video recording and a 5× digital zoom. The phone is also said to have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, as well as NFC, which is sorely lacking from the iPhone 5.

RIM has yet commented on the leaked training manual, but firmly believes that the smartphones to be released on January 30 own the competence to compete with the existing popular smartphones in the market. TechRader also reported that BlackBerry 10 L series smartphones would provide 4 different models, three of which would support 4G LTE network connectivity.
