Share YouTube videos on Google+ account freely via AutoShare

Just several days ago, the YouTube team announced exciting news for all YouTube and Google+ users, the following shows what it is: now you can discover new YouTube videos that your friends are sharing on Google+ on the YouTube homepage. Head over to the YouTube Settings page (http://www.youtube.com/account_sharing ) and “Connect” your YouTube Account with your Google+ account to start seeing videos shared with you in Google+ show up on the YouTube homepage. The news tells us that now the YouTube videos would be shared on Google+ easily, just with the help of some AutoShare settings.

YouTube now allows you to connect your YouTube account to your Google+ account, which would result in that the YouTube videos you shared appears in your Google+ stream, via the AutoShare function of YouTube. However, currently, the AutoShare function is still limited in streaming YouTube videos to your Google+, while the comments of YouTube videos you shared and the YouTube you upload could not be automatically streamed to Google+. Another disadvantage of this AutoShare function is that you need to wait for couple of hours for the activation of this function after you set in Settings > Sharing for automatically streaming. What’s worse is that the shared YouTube videos are seriously hysteretic to be streamed to Google+. That means there might still be a long time for us to fully share online videos between Google+ and other online video sharing sites.

The Guard (2011) (theatrical released on July 29^th)

Lady Gaga Stared a Commercial for Google Chrome with her New Single “the Edge of Glory”

Lady Gaga builds one of the world’s largest fan bases by using the web to talk directly and openly to her community. And just a few days ago, Google released a Chrome commercial, staring Lady Gaga and her Little Monsters, singing and gyrating their way through her latest single “The Edge of Glory”.

This 91-second film celebrates Lady Gaga’s special and unmediated relationship with her fans, the Little Monsters. The ad is intended to illustrate the power of the web and its creative new modes of interaction, which is exactly what Google wants to showcase for Chrome.

The entire project, from Lady Gaga’s shoot in New York City on May 8^th to shipping materials to the television networks for air, took 10 days. Several hours after the release of her latest single “Edge of Glory” on May 9th, fans began uploading videos to YouTube, making the song their own by dancing to it, singing it and playing it with all kinds of instruments. Lady Gaga then posted a message on her website asking for more videos to be used in the film project. Then hundreds of videos were uploaded from fans. Editors in the editing room were putting uploaded videos into the film in real time as fan videos streamed in. The film was completed on May 18th in time to air during Lady Gaga’s performance on the season finale of Saturday Night Live, and to also live on the web forever.

Google Remolds YouTube to Launch 20 New Pay-Channels for Professional Original Content Topics

It is reported that Google is going to spend up to $100 million to remold its YouTube video sharing site by making original content delivered on the Internet while viewed in users’ living room, so as to make better use of the Internet and traditional TV to attract more video viewers.

One insider divulged that Google would remold the present YouTube home interface to highlight channels like arts and sports. YouTube would begin to launch  about 20 pay channels for professional original content for 5 to 10 hours each week, while the other channels would assemble the present contents for users to watch. Also, it is reported that this plan would probably launch at about the end of this year periodically. The video sites is currently making preparation work for this.

 YouTube has flirted with changing the mix of its content for about a year, experimenting with live events, a selection of on-demand Film Festival movies, and has even been rumored to be talking with the NHL and NBA about streaming games live on YouTube. Last year, YouTube streamed Indian Premier Cricket to millions of viewers.

The design for YouTube video sites is still on the way. This has marked that a new phase has arrived for YouTube. For years, YouTube has been committing to help broadcast personal videos online. And now, it will be going to found an ad-based network to make viewers stay longer on it.
